Meet Up with the Colsa's

Carol and I met up with the Colsa's at Wattle Grove Campground yesterday, very, very nice people and great to talk to.

They have got a great powered site at the Campground and it is a very nice camping ground and the prices are right.   If you want five star this is not for you, but has good clean amentities and campers kitchen, power and water and probably one of the cheapest camping areas near Perth.

We are going to try to get there in about a couple of weeks time for a day or two overnight after we get some things fixed on the home front (eg; maintenance/medical etc).

I haven't put the Colsa's names here as they don't have them on their username so didn't want to do that without permission from them.

Thanks Jon,

Slowly but surely the WA ranks of GN's either from here or visiting is growing.

Often wish we were over east for some of the get togethers like Greens Lake Firefly, sounds like a great place, always good to meet up with GN's when circumstances permit.

As a matter of interest, Camp Wattle Grove is almost opposite the Crystal Brook Caravan Park (WA one, not SA) where that alleged killer of Daniel Morcombe from Qld was living before he was arrested.

well done Vic,

Maybe we could organise a bbq or something one evening when you are there, I think Andrea and John will be there too then?

regards
Jean

Hi Jean,

I think Andrea and John arrived today and will be there for a couple of weeks, although the Colsa's will be there much longer.

Our plans due to several things are still up in the air so not sure if or when we could be there.   May I suggest you contact the Colsa's by pm etc and perhaps arrange a get together in the Get Together section, impossible to suit everyone so some will be able to make it and some won't.

While Andrea and John are there would probably be a good time.  If you live near there perhaps a quick visit (but make sure Colsa's will be home) might be the best to have a chat about it.

Got another hospital appointment given to me today, they are always throwing a spanner in the works, don't you just love them ? (Nothing serious but have to take them when they are available or wait forever again).

Yes, we arrived today Vic; have met and chatted briefly to the Colsas, although we were both a bit weary this afternoon. Will be happy to see any visitors who happen to drop in...
We'll be here until about 19 Jan, then scooting off to the 'far east' for a couple of years.Let us know before you call if possible.
Andrea

Hope you enjoy your time at CWG Andrea and John with the Colsa's, hopefully we may be able to visit or camp there before you go east.
