Had a dometic Vac toilet fitted to the last van built 2008 and consulted a few people who had them and they swore by them. After 6 months the problems started and when i rang these same people back they had the same story. Instead of swearing by them we started to swear at them.
If you enjoy working in sewerage then by all means , they will provide you with plenty of work. I must admit that we live in our van full time so if you only use the van on the rare occasion then may not be a problem.
Now have a standard cassette toilet and every day i breathe a sigh of relief that i dont own that Vac flush unit.
Just beware of people who dont like to admit tht they have bought a dud.

Hi Gitsho, we purchased a dometic vacuum toilet about 3-4 yrs. ago, started using it about 12months ago. We found it states that it holds 23ltres. but in actual reality it is 12ltres. a lot of difference. We both think it works fine, no odours and easily cleaned, as it has a porcelain bowl. NO chemicals, so can be emptied  into toilets at rest stops etc. if not near dump points.
