you do make it sound so tempting Ma .. but as I've only recently 'looped' I might stick to the east coast this year.

Anticipate heading north at a snails pace from NSW mid March .. that's about my details as they currently stand ..

Then heading to the UK in October where we are hiring a motor home for 6 weeks.
Just picked up our new annex so looking forward to using it.

Gday...

Killing time in Western Victoria until end Jan, working at a vineyard at Nyah on Murray River Feb/Mar.

Then probably either Flinders Ranges or SE corner of SA before wandering across the Nullabor 'sometime'.

After that - too far away to plan biggrin

Cheers

John

Heading north again (Tsv) March, then back down south (Canberra) in June. Maybe a bit of fishing in Oct. Then mystery (?) for Christmas with S-i-L due for posting towards end of year - just a quiet year this year - still recovering from all our tripping around last year!

Commencing in June the Navigator and I are leaving Melb and heading to Townsville via Willcannia, Bourke, Windorah, Bedourie and  Mount Isa, then heading down the east coast to sydney and home via the Hume Hwy.

Can anyone tell me what the Diamantina Development Road is like on the dirt section between Birdsville Development Road Turn off and Bedourie?

To everyone heading off have a safe and enjoyable trip./  biggrinbiggrin

Well ....... told the Doc on one occasion there was nothing normal about me(still trying to work out what normal is!) and he said there was nothing abnormal either - so I guess I am somewhere in between.

However, last year we toured Tasmania in July/August - loved it!!! Going down for little Emily's first birthday.

Excellent, look forward to seeing you again, June.
We are heading to Qld via the Kidman way in March, spend Easter in Bris, then have a look around a bit further North, and back on via the Coast in May.

We are going to Longreach at Easter, April, then up to Cape York in June, July. Anyone travelling up our part of Qld would be more than welcome to call in here. Plenty of space for any caravan, camper, motorhome, or anything.
Cheers Dellie

My plan is to hit the road at the end of April and go up North of WA and then come slowly back down again, head over the Nullabor spend a bit of time in Adelaide, then West NSW then go to Tassie for a couple of months. And then head to FNQ. All that is flexible however.
