How many forums

Belong to 2 forums, this one and a quilting one. Use face book quite alot to keep in touch with friends and former colleagues, especially when away. Tried other camping forums but found this the best. Follow many blogs as well. Glenda

I have been a member of about 4, but this is the only one I participate in now. I find it is the best and easiest to find my way round. Not forgetting the people are friendly here.

cheers

I'm a member of this one only, although I occasionally read about 4 others.

I'm on face-book but only to keep in touch with my family.... no games.

We are the same as you Dougwe, and use emails for family and friends. Do not know enough about, or feel confident about using Facebook or Twitter , so they are best left alone.

Me too Doug.  It's the one I come back to the most every day, but you can pick up a lot of tips and hints on the other ones too, that you might not get here.

I have often posted info. here that I think might be useful to "Grey Nomaders" that I've found on another Forum.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Just this one - though I have looked a couple more.  Also on Facebook (joined recently) but do not use it much and then only to keep up with friends - definitely no games or anything else.

When you have rellies overseas wombat, sometimes facebook is the only way to keep in touch.
Wouldn't touch twitter with a barge pole, too public.
At least with facebook you can adjust your settings so only the people on you friend list can read anything.

We do have rellies overseas and emails and skype serve us ok, but everybody has their own opinions about FB & twitter, each to their own

I'm a member of only (2) .. this one and another I recently joined to look at ..

No longer part of Facebook now either .. I think for my purposes, I'm suited to only use one as I may go online often, but I seldom stay for any great time ..

I suppose if I had more "chatter" hormones I might find life different ..

I would have to say a couple of dozen, conservatively.

Lots of travel forums, but I don't tend to post on most.

Photography forums, writing forums, candle making forums, cooking forums.

I do get lots of info but not so much a community member so to speak.

 Hi John,

I suppose some people like FB and some don't, I'm with the don't brigade, but I do not object to other's having their view, if one like's it then go for it.

It would be a sad world if we ALL thought alike no

You're right there Wombat.

I'm registered here, facebook, and a scrabble type site, which I play with a friend through emails. I don't play games on fb though, just keeping up with my many rellies and a few friends around the country.

The first place I go when I sign on is my emails, then fb, then GN. That's it, unless I'm searching for something, which I often do.

You are so right there Womby, world would be such a boring place, like arguing with one's self, one would always agree.
