Hi folks ..

If anyone is familiar with the area, I've just found out that I need to spend a few days in the area the end of February.

Be great to find a reputable CP or secure site that would be suitable .. I do have other 'feelers' out elsewhere as well, so will keep all informed ..

There is actually a quite reasonable caravan park at Avoca called The Palms at Avoca contact on 02 4382 1227 hope you enjoy your trip

Walu Caravan Park (Budgewoi) has only 2 powered sites, $25 a day pretty good value.
maybe a bit far north.

I highly recommend Toowoon Bay Tourist Park.

We stayed there last year for 10 days after getting good reviews from fellow travellers when we were at the Lane Cover River Tourist Park in Sydney.
We'll definately stay there again.
