pop tops up or down at nite?

g'day g'day , hows it going smile

 

just wondering those like Happy Wanderer etc

and those with pop top caravans,

when you go to bed at night do you pull the roof down or leave it up ?

are they easy to put up and pull down all the time??

I had a pop top and I have lots of friends with pop tops and I dont know anyone who has ever put the top down at night

The only time we ever put ours down was one night when the wind was sooooooo strong that it would have been foolish not to.

Pop top stays up milo, unless the weather gets so bad that it would be a good idea to pull it down to avoid damage.

We have a pop up since we are tal,l we have to have it up, I know friends who never put theirs up because they are little, .If the wind is to much we will but it down but that's never happened yet

We also have only ever pulled the pop top down when it was far too windy to leave it up. Much cooler with it up anyway!

I pulled mine down while staying at Narrabri Showgrounds last year. Had just got into bed when it started to rain heavy. Thought if I left it up I would be travelling next day with a very wet canvas, so pulled it down.
Just as well as had the most horrendous storm I've ever been out in. Torrential rain and thunder and lightening. Very scary.
