Colostrum is the 1st bit given to babies from the mothers milk isn't it? So this must be coming from cows milk. how come their poor calves aren't getting it and how do they milk it away first and don't get it mixed with the normal milking.
Yes Marj. Colostrum is in Mothers' milk for a while after birth of a baby, to give it anti-bodies to build up the immune system.
It seems that the Colostrum on sale, is Bovine Colostrum. If you Google it, and click on the one that says 180, they have a very good section of info. on how it is aquired, and what it can do.
