Keep looking. If the van suits your needs and budget, and you think it will do the job you want it to do, then go for it.
I searched for 18 months to find this van - the layout, size and $'s I was looking to spend. I bought it on Ebay, sight unseen.
I drove my girlfriend in Perth crazy every time I went down from Broome. There were no secondhand vans or new ones, in Broome.

Just had a good look at the site's above, not sure how that van got passed our laws makers, I don't like the idea of the gas bottle's in the rear of the van, all you need is a sleepy driver running up your backside and there would be a big bang and no more van.

Sorry to point this out but I would be checking if you can get that van insured, does the insurance company know that the gas bottle's are at the back of the van, I suppose there must be some on the roads now but IMHO I would not purchase that van.

Hi Glassies

that is a great looking van.  I often wondered why vans were not streamlined at the front.

all of the heavy trucks these days have streamlining they claim it saves between 15 and 20 percent in fuel

What is the price of that one?

Hi Glassies,

A good looking van built in the USA.

Be very careful of purchasing an overseas built van.

A lot of people have been burnt (including us) when the importers give up importing and the lack of spares may be a problem also.

The limited amount of dealerships may also become a problem if you should need warranty or repairs of any kind.

Check for insurance and the cost.

After you have taken all these into consideration and you still like it, go for it.

Even with our European van and the lack of any importer, we would purchase another English van without hesitation.

Hi AP, that is the first one I've seen with gas bottles at the back, I just thought it maybe a problem.

hi guys, we bought our european van 5yrs ago, we still love it, our importer went under but we have had no problem with spare parts [ not that we have needed many ], also servicing not a problem, great on the road and super comfortable, insureing it is no problem so all in all we are satisfied. so don,t be scared to purcgase an import but like all things do your homework. greyhosts.
