With a 2 year warranty.
I know some of you have been wondering about them and may want to get one at a Good price.
Hi Bill. The first time I ever heard of these jump start thingees was at Greens Lake. Pricey43 had one bought from Aldi, with all the same as this one in latest catalogue. They paid about 50.00 for it. They showed me how it worked and I was sold. I ended up getting one from Big W as Aldi didn't have one at the time. I can't guarantee this one or any other brand, its up to others if they want to buy one.
When do you think you will arrive in Victoria?? Looking forward to meeting you too.
I should be there in a week or two. I have some friends at Narooma, on the south coast, and will visit them, and look at some land in the area around Tathra. Will then, hopefully go out to Greens lake, Perhaps we could meet there?Off to Sydney town to do the tourist thing today, and will be going south on sunday.Looking forward to Meeting you and the famous truck . Bill
Darn it!! We won't be home Bill and you will be going right past our back door, and I mean right past, our back door is only about 300 meters from the highway. Never mind there is always next year if you are down south again
I have the "1900 amp" (note the use of "quotes" around "1900 amp"!) from Super Cheap. It's the purple coloured one. I have used it twice now to successfully jump start my diesel Pajero. I have also used it to supplement my auxiliary battery, which due to space limitations is only 50 ah, to run my Bushman fridge. The ah capacity is quoted as 38ah which I haven't tested but have found that be realistic.
I had to scratch my head the other day, went to pick up a Waeco to fix and thought he -she, had left the beer in it. The front part had a battery fitted. and it weigh a ton. Thats real good thinking waeco, yerr. right..
Bob...

What happens when these things run right down, as in the battery being flat. My son has had mine upstairs playing around with the Navman plugged into it. Left the navman plugged in without having it connected to the power, it is now flat. I have plugged it back into the power but it is not acknowledging that it is being charged. The gauge should swing up to the charging bit. Never let you kids play with your stuff no matter how old they are.
They take a while to charge off the plugpak, should be ok to leave on charge (if it's similar to mine, a 1900 amp(?) job from Supercheap). I've used mine a couple of times "in anger" to start the Pajero (diesel) successfully. Also as a backup to the car's aux battery for my Bushman fridge.
