.. that happened to me recently too Jim .. and when I subscribed to a particular topic under that label, I found I was getting notifcations for all transactions from anyone under that label ..
way i got out of it was to cancel all subscriptions and then just make sure that any subscriptions i made (except for my own) were only made from the extreme bottom of the page .. (of that particular THREAD .. not the main Label) ..
It's a good thing and a bad thing. A good thing in the way this medium can be used as a tool to inform and educate as well as entertain. That's how people learn about stuff. The Grey Nomads is not hallowed ground. In fact it's a wonderful source of a vast variety of topics including travel and camping etc, thanks to everyone who has ever contributed, and you don't have to be a subscriber as such. That's how I found it, way back when..... It can be a bad thing if you want to remain anonymous and nameless. Try to Google yourself if you haven't already. You'd be surprised what comes up. I have several blogs and journals on several sites, and I've almost forgotten where I put them and when. Wikapedia is not accurate, but a source of info as well. Technology is a wonderful thing......when it works. Just be careful how much info you "share" with the world.
