Can anyone out there help? Need to find out how to insure personal items we are taking on 12 month trip around Aus in our caravan. Can't cover as an addition to home contents insurance as we are renting out our home and building and contents will be covered under Landlord's insurance. We can do for 3 month period, which will mean renewing every three months - and this works out very expensive. Anyone been down this track and can shed some information for us. Thanks
Hi Vida, Welcome to the forum. If you join the CMCA you can then insure the van and contents for a reasonable premium. Other insurers would most likely have a 'contents' policy as well - check a few.
Sorry can't help with your request. We just try not to take anything valuable and when we do leave the van and do tours we take the phone,camera, movie camera,money and anything we don't want flogged with us. So far, so good. cheers and welcome. rocket n strop
