So I have a freind who does buying on EBAY, & he came up with these. Camera $15, 4.5inch LCD screen$30, all free delivery from China/Hongkong. All I have to do now is fit it for him.

The 6Meter cable was with the LCD display. If you want longer Ive used thin microphone cable which is shielded, & fitted RCA plugs on each end & works fine.

Hi Beth, The screen is 4.5inch. The brand is probably Stand Security TFT Monitor.  They are what i would call a no brand name from China. Shops in Australia usualy get there brand name printed on the boxes & charge a lot more for them.

confuse Rear view cameras are great I purchased one on ebay with a bullet type camera same as the one in picture but found that depth of field on 120 degree camera not real good on the open road, I have now replaced my camera (sony) 92 degrees which i picked up on fleabay for $60 and considerably better depth of field.

I purchased my extra cable from Jaycar which is well shielded and designed for this type of work and is not real expensive also used RCA plugs. biggrin

Hi David , Different angles diferent jobs. On the back of my caravan 90Deg camera for long distance. On my Panel Van 120Deg so i can see when backing out of an angle park with 4WDs along side, lets me see down the road before reversing out.
