Heard on the news that Davy Jones has passed away.

He was such a little hottie in his day and bought so much pleasure to me as a teen, him and the rest of the Monkees.

The Hey, Hey, We're The Monkeys theme tune is one of those tunes that bring back a wave of nostalga to me every time I hear it.

A few years ago I went searching for it & other Monkees songs & have now got 12 of them on the computer & one song sung solo by Davey Jones at a later date which is called 'Girl'.

my sisters went to the airport when they came to aust, jen reckons he waved at her and only her , i like mickey dolenze best even when he was in cicus boy i had a mad crush on him.
what fun they were and great songs i still play them and sing along

When my girls were younger, we had a pet rosella called Mr Whippy. We taught her to whistle the Monkee theme song. I just remembed that when you did the Hey Hey bit Jon. smile

doing ok ,all kinds of things going on in the body not quite sure

what they are all are aches pains ,pockets of fluid build up, im

going once a week up to maleny physio for lymphatic massage and

everyday i have to do it first thing in the morning so its never just up and atom anymore ,takes time to do the massage ,im heading for the princess alexander hospital on monday to findout more and talk of radiation.

im trying to stay and feel as normal as possible but its only when it happens to you that nobody realy knows how you feel, and my dear husband hes suffering every day ,strangely enough we are even cranky at each other lately and we never were before but im guessing that its the stress of it all ,hes gone to night shift tonite and i have sat and had a good cry .

my daughter heidi is down at my mums ,so its the first night ive been on my own in a long time now since i actualy got sick,so i sat here and had a good cry ,nothing wrong with a cry you have to let it out i say.

Rip Davy Jones, I too grew up with the monkees on repeat mostly on cable when we had it..
they only filmed 2 seasons of the show.. but it will last forever
