out of sight,out of mind

this was quite a shock to see. thought it was about time to see what the hot water anode was like and does it need replacing yet. the answer is for all to see. won't let it go so long next time, 12 months at the latest I'm thinking

That looks about average, if you are in SA I would do it every 6 months

It is all relative to the water quality where you are. The salts & minerals in boar water causes havoc when traveling in less populated, out of the way areas. Check each 6mths & replace each 12mths is a good guide I have found. Plus a good quality water filter is a must.

Thanks, all is explained, that's water that came from a hole in the ground.  I shuddered to think where boar water came from!wink

I had a little giggle about the "boar" as opposed to bore, but your reactions made me giggle even more.
Oh the English language leaves itself open to interpretation by ambiguity.
Have fun with that one Jim Richo and Wombat.
