Looks nice weather up at greens Marj and billeeeeeee. I was going to come up but the tug wasn't finished. The mechanic got his left and right mixed up with the head gaskets, being a V6 it has a left and right. Now it has to be pulled apart again to replace the head gaskets, end of this week now.
Sorry billeeeee to go off track a little.
Come back all that have gone.
There back on track.

Has anyone on this forum bothered to check in "over the road" as they call this forum.............really they are not saying very nice things about all the great friends that are missing them so much here, be careful what you ask for, I believe this forum will survive very well without some former members and that forum will die very quickly, just my opinion.

Hi all Sounds like great fun was had by all. I don't have my own car yet as it got full of water on Xmas day and was written off 3 weeks later........ My new car is still on a slow boat from Sth Korea so I am relying on family spare cars and friends, so bit hard to take off. BUT as soon as my car arrives I will join whoever is sitting put or roaming around Vic. I am now looking seriously at buying a campervan earlier than I was originally thinking about, so maybe I could be having short trips until I retire.....

FF I was definately not referring to you and never suggested for one minute that you are stirring any trouble whatsoever...........but all forums are open to anyone to read and some of the comments on ABB regarding some members here are really not what you would call friendly banter. Agree with Ron and Shirley, a great shame that Jonathan is no longer here though I am the first to admit I don't know why or how this all started, sorry if you felt offended FF but definately was not my intention as I am really a bit of a newcomer here myself, once again I am truely sorry if I have offended anyone........was just voicing my thoughts.
They both know I'd like to see them back here, but the reasons for leaving were very personal, much more personal than should ever be inplied on a public forum. Then it went personal by PM. Now that's not nice. I don't think we'll be seeing them back here any time soon, the forum will go on, but their input and contributions well be missed.

I'd like to see them both come back too, but that is there choice but hopefully they may relent in the future after they have had a break, we are all adults here and sometimes have to make choices that are best for us personally.
Best we can do is to continue to strive to make this forum a happy place and then that will not only encourage members to stay and others to join, but also perhaps some of the nice former members to return.

I think it’s time this thread was closed and we all moved on in a positive way. Life is too short! People come and go on all forums all of the time for many different reasons. The most important thing is that all who do visit this one are doing so for the right reasons, and that they enjoy themselves while they are here.
