Well management and I are now back in sunny Brisbane after a bit of an epic trip.  Our son and his beautiful bride were married in Young NSW a couple of weeks ago.  As we were that far down the track I decided that we would continue on down to Warrnambool in Vic, where I was born and have not re-visited for nearly 40 years.  All well and good we all say, however there was that "spot of rain".  We started out heading north and west to dodge the rainwaters, and would you believe we had to go as far west as Cobar, and thats next door to Burke!!!!  4200 odd k's later we got back to our driveway lol.  We did spend 4 days resting our weary bodies beside Cressbrook Dam near Crows Nest - had the place almost to ourselves, quite cheap at 16.00 per night, hot showers lots of wildlife/birds.   Now to read whats been posted in the weeks we have been away....... cheers Pete
