What's it like up there Ken? I'd love to explore Victoria's high country and the Grampians. Maybe some day soon, but not in winter. Maybe spring time would be better.
Is the country looking healthy and green? When I went through that way in 08 is was dry and dusty and looked very sad.

Hi Cruising Granny, we were at Hall's Gap in december, green and lovely, but they have had a wet year. Spring is good usually, there, Autumn if they have had a wet year. It has some spectacular places. :)

Ken make sure you go and look at the waterfalls in the area, they should be running very strongly nowadays! Was a drought when we were there, dusty and dry, and the waterfalls very thin. Big Walk down to McKenzie falls and back I needed a day off after that one!
