Query re Cherrypool Hwy Park, Victoria...

Gday...

I think I recall someone providing a comment regarding Cherrypool Hwy Park  (Camps6 VIC709) on the Henty Hwy south of Horsham, just west of the Grampians.

Does anyone recall the post ... and/or whether the camp is still available?

Cheers

John

Have you done a search John? I can't recall it either.

Gday...

Yep ... used Advanced Search on Cherrypool (including with a space biggrin) ... on all sub-forums ... got nuffin.

So I thought I'd ask the question. Given my memory these days, there may not have been a post at all. I may have read it somewhere else no

cheers

John

This may be the thread, it has a reference to Cherrypool in it

http://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/t47379121/at-aysons-reserve/

I used Google to find it... Hint, use Google and add thegreynomads (one word) in the search line. It works better than Sparklit Activeboard's (that's this site's) clunky search engine.

Ta Jimricho .... where would an old bloke be wifout dis forum - hey biggrin

I was confident there was a 'negative' report on the camp, but I was only gonna do a one-nighter probably, so I still may just stop there.

Cheers

John

Hi there, Rob and I stayed there in January, the toilet block was being demolished. The river park (free) was ok, traffic noises during the night were bad due to trucks running most of the night. We only stayed one night. Was ok for a stopover.

cheers
