Frogs

I'm hoping I got the last frog out of the toilet yesterday.

Well that was wishful thinking.  Went for a tinkle not long after posting this, and there's another one.  Have to wait 'till it gets to where I can grab it.

Wish me luck that maybe this one is the last.

Cheers,

Sheba.

But the next time you go they'll be right there, under the rim, ready to jump on your bum at any time. It does feel funny.
Spinifex frogs are smaller and a variety of shades of brown. They get in to the tiniest spaces. Very cute.

LOL, CG. Did you read what you just wrote. I'm p....g myself laughing here.

Careful Marj, that may be regarded as smut! wink

While we have been parked up in daughter's yard just west of Rockhampton, each day Keith removed from just inside one of our outside lockers 2 frogs (green, 1 large, 1 small). They would squeeze in through a very small gap.  He would take them down the back & release them.  Each day they were back.  On Monday we left early, went into Rocky, bought a couple of new batteries, & then drove onto St. Lawrence.  Keith opened the sid locker to get out our outside mat & there were those 2 frogs again.  Will we be in trouble with the fauna police for transporting native species??  So besides grey nomads there are also green nomads!!!

They're cute and harmless, but they can be a pest in the wrong places.
Places such as under the dunny rim, watching you shower from the curtain rail, on the windows outside catching the bugs attracted to the inside ligh. The underside is really quite pretty, for a frog's guts.

I have to check inside the door hinges, every time I open a door in the Hi-ace.  It's amazing how many will fit there.  I think 7 was the most I had to get out one morning, before I left for Rocky.

Have to park it in the open here, and frogs just love it.

Cheers,

Sheba.

how wonderful. they must like you.

We had one once. was driving along and felt something jumping on my accelerator foot. nearly had a coronary while trying to stop. the little frog then got  under the dashboard and stayed there. next day, getting into the car, there he was, back next to the accelerator pedal. Picked him up and put him in the garden. Alls good. rocket n strop

There were always frogs in my Auntys toilet in western Qld. As a kid, I remember being scared they'd jump on my bum!

You'll find more at St Lawrence, around the toilet block, or under the wash stand out the side.

Love frogs!

It's open to interpretation. I'm not saying whether or not smut was intended. That's half the fun.

Frogs, they turn up in the most funniest places but they really are harmless and cute. Scientist say the day we don't hear the nightly croak of the frogs is when we need to start worrying about our planet.blankstare

My youngest daughter took some pot plants from my back yard a while back, put them in her boot and when she got home, 11/2 hours away, she rang me and said she had 3 stow away's. 3 little brown frogs. I spose they have started a new family in their new home by now.
