for Wombat

Hi pauline, you NEVER need to BUY a reg cleaner this one is the best there is and it's FREE, CCleaner current ver 3.17.1689 make sure you download the free one and no need to leave your email addy, I do my pooters once a  week with this program

http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/update?v=3.01.1327&l=1033

1st select cleaner from the left menu and then select analyze, then run cleaner

2nd select registry then you can scan for issues on the bottom left tab and it will list all problems and then fix the issues on the bottom right tab.

DON't touch the other two options in the left panel.

When you go into any regular site that requires a password you will need to re-enter your passsword after using this program, its good to do that, so make sure you know all of your passwords.

this is the only program I use and trust for cleaning and it's the only free one I know that will work on a SSD drive (not that will worry you because you don't have a SSD drive do you (Solid State Drive) thats the newest type of hard drive, very expensive at the current time but prices will come down soon, I only have one in my flight sim pooter they are a very fast drive.

back to your problem, is it a popup that just comes up to say you must buy UTILILAB? or is it in a scam email?

Win RAR is an unpacking program like WinZip its just them trying you to buy more products and you do not need it.

When you say free ver of Utilab, where did you get that from? did you do a scan from their website? or do you have that program on your pooter?

lol..... its like housecleaning Pauline. Dust is a problem, but it won't kill you.

With any computer there is a certain amount of housekeeping that you need to do regularly.

Thanks for the advice Wombat, I took it as well.

I'm not sure now but I think it had something to do with Win RAR, was definately not an email..........free version is only free till they identify how many problems you have then you have to pay Womby.

ignore it, do what I recommend below get CCleaner, it will improve your sysytem.

you do not need to BUY a reg cleaner, that tacktic is used by all the ones you have to pay for, ie free check and they find 3000 on all pooters then ask for payment, you may also need to get rid of that program from your system, what system are you running vista, win 7 or what?

OK you could also try a disk cleanup if you have never done that, this will not clean the registry, mainly temp files etc

go to Start/ type in Disk Cleanup, select it from the list and a box will open select C: then select OK then select Delete files
