Air-con

Help, can anyone help with our air-con please. We are in Karratha, which is very hot, and the conditioner isn't working, we don't know if we can get it fixed here, we are using a table fan which is a help. What we want to know, can we use a 12volt fan plugged into our 12volt TV socket, while we are offroad camping. Next question does anyone know where we can get in Karratha, or any where further on in our travels up north. A quick reply would be very appreciated. Thank you. Judy.

A 12V fan probably uses a lot less power than a typical TV. Compare their wattage ratings.

As for an air conditioning repairer ...
