Settled in at Lakes Entrance

Yep, after a 4 hour drive in my new tug towing the Avan Camper I am now settled in at the North Arm Tourist Park Lakes Entrance. This is my first trip with the new tug pulling the Avan and arrived with no problems and it's Friday 13th too.

I had some local fish with a beer for dinner and it was yum. I am now ready for the weekend and what ever it brings.

This 4 day trip is a tad different to the 2 month trip originally planned but hey, I will take whatever I can get, back to grind on Tuesday though.

If anyone is in the area there is a beer or three in the fridge or tea/coffee in the pot.

Have a great weekend all.

It's always exciting to get out there, whether it be a day, a week, a month or a lifetime. As long as you make the most of it when you're doing it.
I sense you've been working towards this for a long time. Enjoy.

Yes Marj, as you know I've met Ken but Lyn. As it turns out they will be on the site next to me so the owner informed me. They are arriving around lunch time I think Ken said in a PM.

I also mentioned my stay to some friends in Yarram and they were already booked in tomorrow (Sunday).

This is a nice little park, not a lot of sites but very nice. They have these green rubber mats covering the sites, very good idea, not sure how long they would last with tent pegs being hammered in to them all the time tough.

Hello all
Get here yesterday Sat and did not get the site next to Doug, my van is just a little bit bigger than Doug;s so got a drive thru
The park is small and the sites are tight for bigger vans but I got in but getting out might be different
Had a few beers with doug last night and will go to Lake Tyers this morning to catch up with Technomad ( Graeme and Pat )
