Hi Fred,
We have a 2008 Falcon Wagon and it tows fantastic for us. Only draw back is ours is dedicated gas. Went up the centre and across the top last year without problems.

We have towed 3 different vans with our trusty Bf falcon (6 cylinder, automatic) and have had very few dramas. We have lifted the back with additional suspension after it cost us a set of rear tyres to take up the North coast and back, then we added an additional air cooler, which helps it immensely to keep more constant temps. I think it is much cheaper on fuel that a fourbie, but for us it is the whole comfort things. We are not young anymore and our comfort is far more important to us!

Currently we have a nearly 2 ton Jayco Sterling 18ft pop top with ensuite and it is going well. It has had over 6 months use and so far so good!biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

hi there, we have been towing our Geist with a 2003 Ford Futura with dual fuel and have been all over the country uncluding all around and have had no problem, the LPG gives us more mileage with out having to worry about the next fuel stop. we now have the oppurtunity to buy a new vehicle so will reluctently sell it but it has been a beaut car. towing the van we get 15.7 per 100klm.

I did tow with a BF Falcon, It towed ok , was reasonable on fuel if you kept the speed down. Bigest problem was with independant rear suspension, wore out both rear tyres from Adel to Sunshine Coast. Sold van after that trip but would really look at rear suspension if was going to tow again.
