Jeez Lilly, keep us up to date please. You had some folks worrying about ya.
It's great to learn you're having a good time, but could you share please. Some of us aren't on the road at the moment.

Totally agree CG. The last we heard wasn't lilly leaving Tamworth? Next minute we hear she's in 1770. How did that happen without anyone knowing?
These things must be written about so we don't all get withdrawal symptoms.

.. I'm a bit like Lilly actually .. Love this life-style but not into posting everything about it. Its nice to have a life outside of  "media-chat" and share only what you wish to share with others on here .. for me, communication is great but it's nice to have a choice when to exercise the privilege without feeling committed to do so ..

I am a bit the same way. I have no blogg, website etc and I travel when and where I want. Even the kids dont know where I am. They are lucky if they can guess the state.

When I am travelling I often go a week or more without even turning on the computer. When I am stopped at a friend place (as I am now) I use the computer to spend the early hours whilst they have their morning time before the worker goes off the work. (female works and the husband is home due to road accident).

As I don't have a time frame I cant predict where I will be or when, so I go from one place to the other as the mood sets.

I have been known to set off in the morning after thinking about it for a few days and then only go a few kilometers and stop again for a few more days so for me to say I will be here or there is impossible. Same as how long I will stay as I move when the mood dictates or the food or water runs out.

Might not suit many but that's the way I am.

I can understand that Beiffe as with Jonathan, but as I said on another thread there are so many on here wondering why they never see another grey nomad or their stickers.
You gotta make it happen, how many thousand are on the road at any one time. thousands. Unless one posts on here even occasionally or see another posting saying where they are no one would ever meet.

You have a choice. You can be a member on here and never meet in person, thats great. Or you can be a member on here and make the choice to meet others in person, make some very good friends for life and feel like you are part of a travelling team.
There are times when I am happy travelling on my own and other times when it feels so good to know you have friends out there who care about you.

Sorry people ..Bit of a fast trip i had met up with some friend,s in Dalby... from there i travel with a friend of theirs to 1770 where we boarded a yatch and now i sailing up the Barrier Reef for 3 to 4 weeks . WE are now dock at some islands of townsville till tomorrow avro ..It been a whirl wind few weeks.. but was a offer i felt i would be silly to turn down and i am having a ball ..but not much internet service out here so guy i am safe and thank for all of your thought .....will be back on dry land soon enough .....

No wonder Lilly hasn't posted for a while! She's just too busy. Enjoy yourself.
And in case you don't see any posts from us for a while it won't be for lack of trying but I'm yet to see if I have internet sorted out for when we are 'on the road' - starting tomorrow - for 5-6 weeks. Heading to South Australia - we'll feel like fish swimming upstream with all the other grey nomads heading north!!
