Don't know if anybody has come across this one yet. I just found it on the net and it seems to be quite new.  There doesn't appear to be a lot of sites available but I guess it will grow in time.  Has anyone tried it?

Cheers!

Chris

What a great idea!

I hadn't heard of it before, but I'll keep watch on it to see how it progresses.

Innes park would be a good stopover. There's not much in the way of free camps in that area...not that I know of anyway.

Thanks Chris.

I like that idea, must be something similiar to what they have in Nz, not sure what they call that one though.
This must be quite a new site as only two places show up on the map. I will definitely register, if we had a decent gate on the back paddock I could offer that as it is quite spacious. Will get that organised in the future.

Great idea but would have to be careful. Never know who you might get camping in your drive. Everybody is not as honest and good living as us GNs.  biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I wouldn't do it for a driveway but if there was a large block or paddocks.
My brother in NZ has a motorhome and can camp on many different peoples grounds with prior arrangement of course. Most being out in the country where a few might park at a time.

Agree Pricey.

And agree Marj. Someone's paddock would be good.

That's given me an idea...As many know, I have lots of rellies in Western Qld, on properties. I'll have to query some of them about bush camping for GN's. biggrin

The Australia Caravan Club Limited is now organising FarmStays around the country for members. You have to be a member and have to be self-contained.

How would you know that you were inviting genuine grey nomads to camp in your yard or driveway, and not axe murderers or robbers?

I don't think I would be listing my place on that site.

What sort of insurance would be needed?

You wouldn't be inviting grey nomads Rosie, its not a grey nomad site, it covers everybody.
There seem to be a lot of risk with it, I haven't registerd as it seems so new, nothing much there yet.
I actually think if someone wanted grey nomads to park on their block they should put it on here where most members know each other.
