I've seen it in WA a bloke had a caravan and a 25ft boat been towed by f250 heading nth for a three month fishing trip he was in bunnings. Then I followed him to Freeo and the police did not stop him even to checkout if he had a permit and I saw 3 police cars go pass him.

My son saw it said 'tempting'. wink

I knew he'd be thinking that. At Easter he loaded his tinny on top of the camper trailer. it was a very complicated process to get it on and off. disbelief

I don't think it's legal anywhere. It's certainly crazy and maybe a teensy weensy little bit dangerous.

Apparently the only reason it is a sick bird (ill eagle)

- is that it is being towed by a rigid vehicle , not a Prime mover .

I saw it on  fb this morning , there was some 'other-sorts' of comments.

One person thought that you had to have a 'reticulated' licence ,

another person thought you coul not 'back it up' , I can back a tripple

Road-train . I suppose if you had it set up right , break-away brakes &

other safety measures . AS Well as an 'articulated or multi-combination'

licence , there should be no harm in having smaller multi-combinations

on the road . My 'humble opinion'

Richo.
