If you find yourself sstaggering around Karoonda in good old SA, in the main park in town is a dedication to my grandad, he was a Policeman at Karoonda and was murdered in the course of his duty at Bow Hill in 1957, his case is quiet famous in SA Police history, his name was Harold Pannell
