How much stuff can you pack into a 17' caravan and 4x4?
We have started to pack for our trip north, we catch the ferry on Tuesday evening.
With the amount of gear being carried outside, I am of the opinion that it would be easier to put wheels on the unit.
We have to carry winter stuff for the south, summer stuff for the north, bowls and outfits, fold up push bikes, exercise gear for my rehab, geocaching stuff, plus just plain stuff.
Hi remember you can always buy heavy winter stuff at opp shops, thats what howie and I do.
And lighter stuff. Had very warm weather here in Moonta/ port Hughes and only packed warm gear so wemt to the op shop to get some cool gear, first time to do this.

Hey Dusty, if you are heading up Maroochydore way, how about throwing a right at the Bribie Interchange and visiting a little bit of paradise off-shore? Could manage to put your names down for a game of bowls too! Of course depends when you will be arriving in this neck of the woods - could pass you on the road heading south (silly us)!
Edit: PS forgot my manners - have a safe trip

Will look at the time table, getting a bit confues as we have certain dates booked.'
I thought we allowed enough time for some detours, but they seem to be disappearing. The side trip to the gathering has been put on hold, as we could not rearrange our ferry departure date.
"Heading South?" Are you mad?????
Just joking, have a safe trip also, if we do not manage to catch up.
Hi Glenda, is it still warm in Moonta? That's where we're heading when the 'old lady' gets fixed. Others have said there have been cold winds (like here).
