If you have to be stuck anywhere Dubbo is not a bad place to be stuck I lived there for a number of years before the economy forced me to move closer to the big smoke, hope you get your HWS problem sorted quickly and cheaply.

At least you can watch it up there Ken. Us local cats fans had to listen to it on the radio.  At least we came home in the end.

Problem with the new van should be sorted under warranty Ken? Good luck with it, its not the best weather to be stuck.

That's not good at all Ken and Lyn, I hope you get it sorted out real quick. In the mean time enjoy Dubbo. Maybe you could check out the Western Plains Zoo and the Old Dubbo Gaol.

Just keep every thing locked while in any of the Dubbo CPs Ken. I think we used B&C Caravan repairs in Fitzroy St Dubbo - they were very good. Last job they did for us was to instal a mains pressure tap.

You are not the only ones stuck in Dubbo. Our motor home has blown up the auto transmission after 80,000 klms. A 400 klm tow on the back of a drop deck semi and transmission now in Penrith at the doctors. Hopefully will be back here on Tuesday.  It is amazing how many repairers were happy to work on the tranmission until they learnt it was a motor home. The guy that agreed to dothe job had changed his mind by the time we got here on the tow truck. Told him thanks very much. Did get someone else to take it out and send away. Safely tucked up in Poplars CP cabin.  Not 5 star but good price, convenient and comfortable. RACWA have coved every thing so far.

Welcome to the Grey Nomads Woolman.
Mechanics would work on a cab over Kenworth before they'd work on a motor home. It's complicated going through the floor and work in awkward, confined spaces.
I'm guessing it's not a converted bus where the engine bay is easier to get to, or has the motor out the back.
I wish you all the best with the repairs, and I hope the bill isn't too ginormous.

Hello all
We are back on the road as the problem was a spark thingy which had moved and would not light the gas .but now all fixed at Ryans in dubbo
We stayed at mendoran after that for one night, which alright, basic with toilets and cold shower and town water.
Now in Moree at Gwyder c/p and the hot pools are great
Heading for Roma tomorrow
