how are we all going

just wondering where you all are and how you are going the ones that were setting off for other places north of gympie, where have  you made it to jonathan and where is  micheal at by now and rowdy ? also whats happening with just cruisin, and the rest.

im resting up have had my leg raised up for a couple of days lately as i cant seem to stand my lymphatic stocking on i reckon its stopping the burn from healing on my leg, what a mess it is too purple red horrible looking thing the scar tissue from the operation has gone all thin and is tearing so im having to just lather it with qv cream every day and put zinc cream over the torn parts of the scar tissue i hope it gets better soon.

im off to my mums on the central coast Koolewong nsw for 8 days to be spoilt by family ,and see all my lil nieces and nephews .

well i hope everybody is safe, not bad weather for having to sit up

its been pouring all weekend

Prepare for some cold damp weather at Koolewong. It's miserable down this way and predicted to not improve any time soon.

Take care,

Jim

Good luck with your healing. It sounds messy and painful.
Enjoy your visit with family.

Hi Della. Good to hear you're going away for some family time. It'll do you the world of good.

I'm home now for awhile. Plan to do the last of Lulu's makeover in August before heading south in early October.

Say Hi to Graeme.

Hi Della, we are above Tounsville at the moment. To Cairns tomorrow and meet up with my friend who is taking us up to The Cape. Getting exciting. Nice to see a bit of sun at last.
Enjoy the time with your mum Della, and let her spoil you?

Well, Della and Graeme.. although we've not met, I feel we are acquainted by virtue of this great group's site! You are to be admired for courage you show during this spell of adversity. We hope your recovery is speedy and we will meet somewhere "Out There" in due course.

We're leaving home, Brisbane, tomorrow Monday; a couple of days to Rocky, couple of days there, then heading west towards Plenty Hwy and the red centre, Lake Eyre and back via Birdsville. We're glad to see this rain clearing!

All the best from Fried Rice

Hi Della & Greame, sounds like you are still going through hell.Rest up for a while there girl & let some one else look after you.

We are all good, have taken a few days out from travel to have a rest, its been pretty busy since we left home, with the music festivals, time with the kids & then the get together. We are at the Boynedale bush camp, lake Awonga, moving on in a day or so. Take care.

Southern suburbs of Newcastle Della, but generally very ordinary weather all around this part of the coast.

If weather clears up a bit you'll be able to enjoy the views over pretty Brisbane Water and have some R & R to help you get "back on your feet"

best wishes for continued recovery,

Jim

Has anyone told the weather man that the wet season is finished?
Well maybe you locals up that way should give him a reminder. Winter down south. Dry season up north.

Just trying to make our "southern" visitors feel "more at home" GC.

Beautiful day today though, blue, sunny skies and about 23 deg.

Cheers!

Della - take it easy and let everyone spoil you.  I know it can get boring, annoying and crappy with one leg stuck in the air, not walking properly etc (been there) but you should feel better soon.  Ask your doctor if hyperbaric treatment will do you leg any good, supposed to promote healing.  Won't hurt to ask.

thanks guys had my surgery appointment today saw a doc who said so hows things going i said oh pretty
much burnt to a cinder in the leg department, so he took a look said ohhh nasty but it will get better, he now
only wants to see me in six months as it is looking like the department in brisbane are going to be looking after
me from here on in and studying me.

he said due to this being at a high risk of returning, i said to myself and him you know what this is not going to return
and that is my way of looking at it, and that is the way its going to be from here on in he was quite suprised :)
