For everyone traveling with an iPad/iPhone, there is a small free app put out by the West Australian Government called GP After Hours which, as the name suggests, makes finding a Doctor after hours simple with a few key strokes.
I do not know if other States have a similar app, you'll have to check the app store for your State.
Cheers

That's strange as I just used my password to sign in and downloaded the app straight away.
You'll need an Apple ID and password and once that is set up, all you'll ever need to do after that is type in your password to download an app.
It is worth the effort as once you're set up there is a plethora of apps for the traveler eg: compass, satellite finder, tide charts and fishing bite times for the fisher person to name just a few.
Cheers

Thanks for that, have installed the AMA on the iPad. You never know when you'll a Doctor!
Seems like the Home Visiting Doctor (for Android) is only for Melbourne/Geelong.
Cheers

Gee wiz, I just tried to download it and I have to sign up to Apple. All the questions I have to answer just to get a free app. I gave up, I thought they were going to ask me what I had for breakfast 3 years ago or someting. I was actually going to say something else then but thought better of it.
