Lake Elphinstone Qld

A great spot - lots of room, flushing toilets, cold showers unless you light the donkey heater.  They were getting red claw while we were there - off Peak Downs Highway, from Mackay - turn right at the BP Junction - look for sign.

People weren't getting much at all - but a lot of red claw was trapped - most of them were putting the traps on the other side of the lake, going out in canoes, blow up boats, porta boats etc.

Thanks Jules for this info, I am hoping to get to the lake in the not too distant future.

Do you have any pics?
