Sea Lake Toilets

Gday...

and a bit further north on the way to Mildura is the very small town of Manangatang ... free overnight stay, excellent flushing toilets and hot showers - all new brick building and very clean - and free power too. No tap water, but access to a water tank.

Cheers - John

While on my journey from Wonthaggi to Mildura nature called so called into CV parking area at Sea Lake and wow, were the toilets impressive, very very clean and had free hot showers also very very clean. Mark it down in your little black book. It's not O'night stay but hey you can call in if passing.

They have just rebuilt this complex but even the old block was always kept clean and tidy.  Good place to let the dogs have a run too.

Yep - the loos at Sea Lake have always been a good, clean rest stop - always made a point of stopping there, there is a take away shop that makes great salad sandwiches as well.

Sorry - it is on the way to Mildura from Melbourne, maybe the Calder? Nowhere near the sea, by the way!!!!

Yes - excellent service. The town is to be commended - and we should try to reward them by patronizing the shops and fuel outlets.
We stopped there on 2010 trip - I have a pic somewhere of the adjacent bowling green with millions of locusts on it! That was the year of the big locust hordes.

There's a lot of small towns in the Mallee and Wimmera areas of Victoria that go all out to get the travelling public to stop a while .

Great little places , and great people .
