Heading North

Hi all, will be heading north on monday, first night at Beerburrum near Glasshouse Mountains, with friends. Heading for Ayr, not sure which way I will go, coast or inland, will decide when I leave Beerburrum, Rod

Are you visiting Della and Graeme ?  They live in the general area.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Might be a good idea to go out and up through Emerald and Charters Towers.

Not so much traffic out through Gayndah and Biloella and then Rolleston and Springsure.

The road gets better after Rolleston, not too bad to there any way.

Take the Woodstock road from just before Townsville and head east to Ayr.

Went that way recently with the Van and Boat, some big road works just north of Emerald but that was about it.

Have fun Haji-Baba

Agree. It's a nice scenic route too.

Hi Gordon, the truck has a 5.2 litre turbo intercooled 4 cylinder diesel, reasonable comfortable to travel and average just over 17 litres per 100kn towing the van, Rod

Sounds like you'd be better to wait until the rain stops.
