Mobile phone antennas

I have done a search but can't find any topics on the "Little Devil" omni directional antenna made in Tasmania. It is capable of a range of frequencies including 3G. Is anyone familiar with these and their capabilities? Information on any other antenna that users find suitable for mobile phone/internet reception would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Rongela.

Yes Dougwe, that's the site of the people I'm talking about. I'm enquiring about the small round antenna with the magnetic base. I think it would be versatile in that it can be moved around as needed and I believe it can withstand driving whilst it's magnetically held on the roof of the vehicle. I'm interested to know how effective it is from GN's that are using one. It costs around $145. which is reasonable I think.

Hi Rongela, we use a whip aerial that we bought from Jaycar and it works well but you do need a modem that has an external aerial connection. Also recently we bought on EBay a yagi aerial ( 10 element) and it works very well in reaching Telstra towers when your really out in the bush or just a weak signal location. If you want anymore info PM and I'll sent it to you Brian

We have a Next G Marine aerial on both the tug and tow, can plug phone or internet with comparable patch lead.  Has made life so much easier, when limited connectivity can be turned into two or three bars!

Thanks for all the responses, it seems no one has the actual antenna I am referring to. Thanks for your input.
