Fuel cell power

Hi David, this process allows batteries to remain on float charge especially when other processes of charging are not available for whatever reasons particularly when camped for extended periods. The process is not new but development of the technology became unsuitable in Aust mainly due to the fact that LPG in Aust is not clean and therefore not suitable. I just posted this to see if anyone has seen anything on the topic since I last read about it. Trust this helps in understanding the topic a little. Brian

Don't seem to have raised any interest on the techno page so I'm posting this on here to see if things change. Has anyone ever see any articles of fuel cells being powered by LPG to allow batteries to be float charged. I realise if it takes a converter to get the AC to run a smart charger may be a little inefficient but I'm prepared to cope with that. If of course it will charge a 12 volt battery direct all the better. The idea is not new but from what I have seen it may not be worth the effort but I'm prepared to have a look at it. Thanks, Brian
