john was at the bunkers, which he loved, working a stacker and hopper, which is the trucks come along and dump the grain over a grid which is then sent thru on a conveyer belt to the bunker. I was working at the weighbridge which was a doddle and then in the office ,but this year the boss wants me to do a classification course, we loved the town and the people

just a short message for those interested in making a few dollars . viterra has just advertised on their website as of last night for vacancies at their grain terminal sites through S.A. We worked for them last year and had a great time , we are also working with them this year.
I applied a couple of years ago to do weighbridge etc, and apart from acknowledging my interest I never heard anymore. Where are the jobs this year, and where are you working?

the jobs are widespread across S.A.,weighbridge are pretty hard to find now as they are mostly automated, but there are plenty of other positions available ,we find that the more remote areas are where it is easier to get jobs as a lot of people don't want to work there. last year we were offered five jobs at different depots, but we chose the eyre peninsula and we thoroughly enjoyed it . when you decide if you are going to put in an application if it suits you put in for every area ,it might take a while but if you save your info when applying it makes applying a lot easier. if you need any info just yell I am quite happy to help any grey nomad ,good luck .
I applied for Yorke Peninsula at the time. Last harvest I was busy escorting silos and field bins so the idea of working for Viterra has pretty much left my mind. Where did you work on EP? Plenty of silo sites to choose from. I believe Viterra has sold out to a European company, so that change will happen soon, if it hasn't happened already.
