Thought I would just drop a line, we are into our second night in the van, we moved out of our home yesterday but returned today and we cleaned the carpets and washed down inside and outside (the wife not being able to, supervised) ready for the new owners tomorrow at 11am. It's exciting times but still a sense of worry which I know will pass in time. We have done really well in down sizing and staying under weight, as I have said the caravan park is really nice, mainly seniors and there ammenities are to talk about ie spotless. Thanks to wombat's training I will get some photos and post them in the next few days. We have to return in January for the wifes specialist so we are going to book our dates now. We are adjusting to our new way of life pretty good I would have to say, i only told the wife she snored once last night and of course she said, " I don't snore", so I said of course dear it must have been one of our babies, we have two chihuahuas . We were really lucky with our garage sales and we donated to the Salvo's and we placed items out on the nature strip and they disappeared like hot potatoes!! We have counting tonight 6 more sleeps before we head north, so there is a lot of excitement. We had the gas heating fitted to the van before pickup and it has had a good testing last night and tonight. It was well worth the money Trumatic E2400 gas heating. Plus you get a $100 fuel voucher, takes about 4 weeks to arrive I have been told.
well till next time stay safe everyone and enjoy life
