Qld roundabouts

After recent discussions on another thread about roundabouts, I thought this might be of interest.

We noticed in WA that drivers were very good at using their left indicator to show they were exiting a roundabout, it makes it much easier for those waiting to enter the roundabout. However, they also tneded to use their right indicator when they entered the roundabout when they were in fact goiung straight ahead, presumably as some sort of indication that they weren't turning left. This practice is confusing and really dangerous, several times we were nearly skittled when we turned left at a roundabout thinking the oncoming vehicle was going to turn right, only to have it keep coming at us.

I've noticed that here too Nicholstones.

I don't trust anyone's indication as truly what they're doing, after I got cleaned up by someone indicating wrongly several years ago. I wait that little bit extra to be sure.
