Frogs on the Hop at Goolgowi, NSW

Hi everyone we are at Goolgowi, NSW - we had a nice drive up from Moama through Hay, not much traffic, bit overcast but not cold, no rain. We got to Goolgowi park, no attendant - we were the first to arrive at about 2.15pm and then there was three more vans. Nice grass site all ammenities although the wife is going to use ours, o' well. The council attendant arrived at about 5.30pm and for $18.00 not bad. Apparently this is the last week this park will be operating, they are going to develope it for housing, a new park will open next week (suppose to be Monday 20th Aug) near the RSL and run by the RSL, not Council so expect a price rise. The couple next to us are from South Australia and had there own winery so they supplied the wine for happy hour, not being a wine person the wife said it was very nice. Don't know if we will stay another day as we are only 31/2 - 4 hrs from Cobar so will see what happens in the morning, not in any hurry although it is suppose to rain here thursday, what day is it again?.

Is there anyone heading towards Cobar area?.

Until next time stay safe and happy everyone, take care.
