Gday...

I stayed at Maryborough QLD showgrounds last year - about July I think. Was a good place with a fair price. Open, clean, and not very crowded. It does depend on whether there "shows" or "events" on of course.

This is their overarching website - http://www.maryboroughpark.com.au/ Check their 'upcoming events'

Cheers - John

Hi,This weekend is the Maryborough caravan and camping show so it will be very busy. There is a dump point though.

I really don't know if they allow camping at Gympie but there are overnight rest areas just on the outskirts of town both north and south,I 'think' there is a 24 limit on both. Just south of Maryborough there is free camping at both Bauple and Tiaro. Bauple is a short distance off the Bruce Highway and Tiaro is astride the Bruce Highway.

Hope this helps a little.

Cheers

Trevor

For $10 per person per night, Cobb & Co Nine Mile Campground is a great spot. A bunch of us camped there in May. 19.7 kms South of Gympie.
