Greetings fro the Gympie Muster, anyone else here??

Hi All,

I'm camped at the Gympie Muster ready for another great year of music and fun. Just wondering if there are any other Grey Nomads here or on their way ??

Cheers, Cate

Hi Pam, a bit smaller than last year but still good, maybe you can make it next year. Cheers Cate

I have now moved onto Tiaro at the once great Petrie Park Rest Area The council have stuffed it up big time Enough room for three Caravans used to have room for 12 or more beside the lake which was full of Mossie's..20 hour stay only  I even think that was too long

Now I have prime real Estate behind the Pub...Going there tonight and have a Real meal and Beer.......The Frazier Island Mob changed the Petrie Park to a day spot for Families and Local Information says Nobody uses it  It's a dive  No Water dirty toilets....Wonder what sort of Moroon thinks of these idea's  The Hideaway Pub is Furious as they got good clientele from there...

Ps Went to join the Library at Tiaro today Because I am not a rate payer it would have cost $ 25.50  Never heard of this before as I am a Member of all the Liberties along the Gold and Sunshine Coast

You'll get a good meal at that pub jimbo. If I remember rightly, they make a great hamburger too. I've never stayed anywhere there as I'm usually not far from rellies free camp!

The butcher across the road is good too.

The butcher at Tiaro is the Best for smoked products, they are 4th generation butchers in that shop!

And agree with you all, the Pub is great for a feed

Cheers, Cate

Hi Cate,

I'm surprised that the Muster is smaller than last year with the great lineup that they are having.
I fully intend to be there again next year...I'll have my new (automatic) van by then.

Totally agree with all of you about the good food at the pub in Tiaro.

Cheers. Pam. smile

Never heard of a library charge before. At jindabine. The video shop charges an extra $50 for your first video hire if you are not local. You get it back when all you borrowed has been returned and you hand your card in. Perhaps the library could use that system.

Not a rate payer would mean that any locals who rent their homes would also have to pay.
