Mundoora. A nice place to take a break.

Mundoora is 48 K's south of Port Pirie, and 16 K's east of Port Broughton. There's not much chance of getting lost there. They have a great footy oval. Tennis courts, a couple of dozen houses, and a memorial hall, that the locals are doing up. You will be welcome at the local club, which is run by Elizabeth and Paul. As there are no shops there, best to put a few extra supplies in the pantry. Opposite the memorial hall, there is a freecamp. Mobs of big shady trees, plus the dunnies. Drop onto the club, which is in the main street, and just say, "G'day!"  To get meal, and opening hours, their E mail is mundooraclub@activ8.net.au Phone 86354264   Regards. "Pipes"

I like the sound of the trees. Camp table, chairs, book, coffee & of course the Tim Tams.
