Cruising Granny spotted in Cobar

The wife and I were driving out the caravan park here at Cobar this afternoon to go and do some shopping when I spotted cruising Granny driving in. We continued on our way up to do the wife's shopping thinking that cruising granny was staying in the park, but when we got back she had gone. So if I missed you granny I am truly sorry I missed my chance to meet a remarkable Lady, we are leaving tomorrow morning, heading north. If you are in the area granny we are on site #38.

Take care everyone

Hi Frog - she probably went in to have a shower of something - she is escorting a big load of something at the moment, to Emerald I think. If you do meet her, she is a lovely lady, with some great stories.
Hope you are having a good trip

Hello All

We passed two long vehicles with escorts between Cobar and Wilcannia yesterday around 1000hrs.   They were heading towards Cobar, we were heading towards Broken Hill.   I made comment to the navigator (Wife) that I thought the 80 series Landcrusier may have been the Cruising Granny.   Going by the posts my suspisions may have been correct.

Happy caravanning
