There's a lot of road works going on and much more traffic than there used to be. Trucks, semi's, road trains, wide loads, and mining vehicles. And Caravans!

Be sure you have your UHF on Ch 40.

travelled down there myself a few days ago .. yep .. very busy with detours west of dalby too .. give yourself plenty of travel time ..
