Dalby - Roma

I just posted in the 'road conditions' section, but thought I'd add it to the general forum.

There's a lot of road works going on out there. And a lot more traffic than there used to be, because of the mining.

Mine vehicles, wide loads, semi trailers as well as the usual road trains. And lots of young bushies in their obligatory utes impatient with caravans doing 85-90 instead of 120 like themselves!

Be sure to have your UHF on Ch 40.

Thanks Beth, I will be down there next week.  It's good to know ahead what to expect.

Cheers!

Chris

Did that road a few weeks ago heading south. Now on the Miles to Theodore road going north again. It is ok but very broken on the edges in a few places but dont seem to be bouncing around quite as much. Some big trucks carrying huge pipes to Wandoan.
