ebay scam

I was looking in ebay, and found an add for a 18ft bushtracker cvan for $7500, somewhere in WA. now these vans usually go for $50 to $70 thousand , so I was interested. The site said email her. First problem, her email was in Staffordshire, UK. Second problem-No buy now or best offer buttons in the add.I thought this was a bit dubious, so I contacted ebay customer support. It took TWO days to remove this add from ebay. She even had false good Recommendations, many of them. I like to pay with paypal, you are protected.DON'T GO OFF SITE TO TALK TO THESE PEOPLE! If you work thru ebay , you have a comeback. These people are getting more brazen every day.Needless to say, anything that looks too good, it usually is.Any body else had these rats try to scam them?Bill

They are always trying aren't they? I like PayPal - as you say, there is comeback if you work thru ebay. Haven't had any problems at all. Got to be alert, and as they say, anything that sounds too good to be true, usually is!!

I just got 2 emails to update paypal details. The links went to a UK website, so be careful.
