my floor saver

did this today even though i had the bits for ages

its a tray i had made  up

1 reason was to lift it a bit so della could reach to get the clothes out and the second reason is to have a trap  for water if  the washing machine ever decides to spring a leak .

its 2oo ml high and at 100 ml i had a floor welded in put in a tank tail and a hose through the floor fix the washing machine to the tray and then fix the tray to the floor .so if theres ever a leak the water is trapped in a sealed tray and is drained to the outside of the van and hey presto no rotten floor or walls .

its made out of 12 ml thick plastic same as the stuff they make my truck water tank outa and it only weighs 26 kgs . just one of the unseen things i got planned for our new home i will show you as i do them the other one was the rubber strip over the boot hingeIMG_0115.jpgIMG_0174.jpg

Oh, I don't think the footwear meets OHS Standards but then, is there such a thing in the GN world.
