venetian blinds

Hi Everyone, has anyone bought venetian blinds from spotlight for their caravan? If so, are they see through at night with the light on? Thanks. We are going down this road this week end. cheers.

Hi, we bought roller blinds from Ikea which seem to work well and dont rattle like venetians. A lot cheaper too, not sure about the see through but if people are desperate to look at a couple of old wrinkles well good luck to them keith

I've got Spotlight venetians in my house and they work perfectly. We have verticals in our van and they work well too.

Cheers

Hi Rocket... you'd have to make sure they are very well tied down as they rattle as you are travelling and it ends up leaving marks along the sides of the windows.

The rubbing and leaving black scuff marks on your wall can be a problem , This was pointed out to us by the caravan dealer when buying our caravan

Thanks Keith. I will look at roller blinds as well. We have bought one venetian for the back of the van and behind the stove.Thought it would be easier to keep clean than curtains.Cheers.

We had venetians in our former van. While they looked great, they were a nuisance behind beds and seating, the ends kept bending out of shape. .... and thet were mongrels to clean!

Give me curtains any time, easy to wash.
