Yes it is day 3 already, I don't know were day 1 and 2 went though.

After a drive down to the shops before I left home I felt the Prado had too much weight in the back and the Avan still wasn't connected yet so when I got home I had a rethink about things on board including the heavy bed base I made up in the back with hinged lid to use under as storage. Well I decided the bed was not needed so out came the base and a few other things to lighten the load, I reckon I took out at least 35kg if not more and that made a bit of difference.

It's amazing what you learn when about too or already travelling around, after talking to my next door neighbour the day before leaving who is looking after my small garden that the 32psi I run in the AT Tyres was not enough with the on-board and Avan weight so increased the back to 40psi and the front to 35psi with 33psi in the Avan Camper. What a difference the extra made.

Day 1, Tuesday was spent travelling at about 85-90kmh to Lakes Entrance via Yarram to drop off some orchids to friends, another 15kg less now, on to L.E. Arrived and set up camp by 3.30pm after leaving home home at 8.00am.

Day 2, Wednesday. After all the events of the past 18 months, good and bad, I discussed things with myself and made an executive decision to just un-wind and do basically not much at all while here for the 10 nights, I feel in myself I need to do that, I am starting to feel better already. Even though I am near the road I put ear plugs in at night and I am sleeping like a log, better than at home.

I don't do much reading at the best of times but sat down yesterday and settled in with my e reader and got half way through the book, for me that's great.

It's now day 3 and what to do, mmmm, not much at all, it's raining and chilly as I speak and much the same till Sunday.

Enough dribble for now I don't want this to turn into a novel.
